Once they find a few homes that meet their requirements, they contact their real estate agent to help them handle the details. Mortgage & Financing Smart buyers know the price range in which they can buy, and have their financing pre-approved by a mortgage broker. The Mayor's Office of Housing ("MOH") offers a variety of assistance programs to low and moderate first time homebuyers in the purchase of affordable single family homes, townhouses, and condominiums.
